 About Summit Physical Therapy Summit Physical Therapy was founded in 1995 by Paul Kane, P.T., when he saw a need for a high quality focused clinic specializing in musculoskeletal and sports medicine. Over the years we have chosen to remain small and focused, to ensure we maintain our dedication to personalized, one-on-one care. |
 Paul Kane, P.T., C.M.P. Paul received a graduate diploma from Auckland Technical University, School of Physiotherapy, New Zealand in 1982 and became a New Zealand Registered Practitioner (N.Z.R.P.). He practiced physical therapy in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, before coming to the United States in 1987 and Oregon in 1988. He is a Certified Mulligan Practitioner, as well as having undergone advanced training in Australian and Canadian manual therapy approaches, and Norwegian Medical Exercise Therapy. Paul and his wife have three boys and, when time allows, enjoys skiing, snowboarding, and coaching soccer. He has completed marathons, including the Boston Marathon and marathons in New Zealand and Alaska; his best time being around 3 hours. He routinely rides his bicycle to and from the office. |

Modesitt is a Nationally Certified Massage Therapist (Lic.#335501-00).
She has been practicing massage therapy in Oregon since 1978 in
physical therapy clinics. She blends an array of techniques suited to
the individual from various course works, including:
Swedish, Reiki, Shiatsu, Polarity, and Repetitive Use Injury. These
applications of treatment are applied with deep cross friction,
stretching techniques or by gentle application to people who have
either acute or chronic conditions. This
variety of therapies can be applied for general health and relaxation
